Combat
Combat is the PvP system in Ninjas Live. You attack other players to steal their cash and earn fight stats. Every attack costs stamina.
How an Attack Works
- Choose a target from the Fight List (Attack page)
- The system compares your total attack vs their total defense
- A random roll determines the outcome — attack advantage increases win probability but does not guarantee it
- On win: You steal a portion of their on-hand cash; they lose HP
- On loss: You lose HP; they are unaffected financially
Attack and Defense
Your combat power is the sum of:
- Base attack/defense from your class and stat points
- Equipment (weapons, techniques, spells) — add flat attack/defense
- Clients — some provide flat attack or defense bonuses (e.g., Shadow Trainer, Dojo Master, Void Assassin)
- Loot Items — Rajput Battle Charm (+8% attack), Tsarist Bloodstone (+8% defense)
- Clan bonuses — active clan provides an additional multiplier (see Clan mechanics)
Stealing Cash
When you win a fight:
- You steal up to 10% of the target’s on-hand cash
- Maximum steal is capped at $50,000 per attack
- The steal bonus (from Pirate Lord client and Blood Dragon Pearl loot) increases this percentage
- Cash in the bank is safe — the 10% steal only applies to unbanked money
The bank has a 10% deposit fee — balance security vs. fee cost.
Kills
If a target reaches 0 HP from your attacks, it counts as a kill (tracked in your profile stats and used for achievements). Killing a player does not remove them from the game — they respawn in the hospital.
The Hospital
When your HP reaches 0:
- You are hospitalized — cannot initiate attacks until HP > 0
- You regen HP passively (+1 HP / 3 min)
- You can pay $500/HP to heal instantly
- You can use a 5 FP Favor Point refill to fully heal
Bounties (Hit List)
Any player can place a bounty on another player:
- Minimum bounty: $500
- Placement fee: 10% of bounty (minimum $500 fee)
- Bounties last 24 hours
- Killing a bounty target claims the bounty reward
Stamina Cost
- Default: 1 stamina per attack
- Reduced by: Phantom Sandals loot item (−1 per copy, stackable)
- Refill: 5 Favor Points for full stamina
Classes in Combat
Your class affects your base combat stats:
| Class | Attack | Defense |
|---|---|---|
| Tycoon | Low | Low |
| Muscle | High | High |
| Operative | Medium | Medium |
Muscle class players are the dominant PvP force; Operative players are competitive; Tycoon players should rely on equipment and clients to compensate.
